Lake Nepjohn (French: lac Nipigon) is the largest lakes in Ontario, Canada.

Sometimes described as the sixth Great Lakes.

A height of 260 meters (853 feet) above sea level, is also considered as a sewage lagoon in Nepjohn River and then into the Gulf of Nepjohn Lake Superior.

The lake and the river is the largest tributary of Lake Superior.

Nepjohn Lake, about 120 kilometers (75 miles) to the northeast of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

The total area of the lake Nepjohn (including inner islands of the lake) of 4,848 square kilometers (1,872 square miles) - compared with 3,150 square kilometers (1,220 square miles) of Lake Woods.

The largest islands are Caribou Island, Jikei Island, Katatauta Island, Kelvin Island, Logan Island, Murchison Island, Murray Island, and the island of Shakespeare. The maximum depth is 165 meters (541 feet).
